Pressotherapy (lymphatic drainage)

Price
20 EUR
Duration
45 min

Pressotherapy is a device lymphatic drainage massage. You put on special sleeve and boot shaped cuffs in which the device changes air pressure rhythmically - the wave moves from the feet upwards, exactly in the direction of lymph flow.

I work with the professional GP DRAIN device from the manufacturer General Project. It uses compressed air for lymphatic drainage, and the pressure can be adjusted precisely for each area and for how it feels to you.

The treatment lasts 45 minutes. If you wish, it can be combined with a wrap - the active product then works under the cuffs for the whole treatment.

What the treatment does

  • encourages lymph flow and the drainage of fluid from the tissue
  • reduces swelling and the feeling of heaviness in the legs
  • improves circulation and the nourishment of tissue
  • improves skin tone and helps work with the appearance of cellulite
  • relaxes - many clients fall asleep during the treatment
  • complements a course of LPG lipomassage in body contouring

Who it suits

  • if your legs swell and feel heavy in the evening
  • if your work is sedentary or spent on your feet all day
  • if you are working with the appearance of cellulite and fluid retention
  • if you want a calm, relaxing treatment without active intervention

How the treatment works

You lie down comfortably, I put on the cuffs and set the programme. The pressure wave moves rhythmically from the feet upwards - the sensation is like an even, firm but pleasant squeeze.

These are 45 quiet minutes just for you. If you choose the version with a wrap, I apply the active product before the cuffs - the treatment then costs 25 EUR.

It is worth drinking water afterwards. Most people feel lightness in their legs straight away.

Contraindications

  • thrombosis, thrombophlebitis
  • heart failure
  • pregnancy
  • oncological conditions
  • acute inflammation, raised temperature
  • skin infections in the treatment areas

If you have vein or heart conditions, be sure to consult your doctor before the treatment.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between pressotherapy and LPG?
Pressotherapy works with pressure and lymph flow - it is gentle and relaxing. LPG is an active vacuum-roller massage that works the tissue in a targeted way. In a course they are often combined.
What does the version with a wrap mean?
Before the cuffs I apply an active wrap product to the skin, which works more intensively in the warmth and pressure of the treatment. This version costs 25 EUR.
How often can pressotherapy be done?
The treatment is gentle and can be done regularly - in a course usually 2-3 times a week. We will discuss a frequency to suit your goal when you book.
