For the face
Facial biostimulation
- Price
- 35 EUR
- Recommended course
- 10-15 sessions
Facial biostimulation is a device treatment in which the facial muscles are activated with rhythmic impulses - more strongly than in microcurrent therapy, but still comfortably.
The aim is muscle tone: the face is held up by its muscles, and their condition largely determines how firm the skin looks.
I work with the Futura Pro device. Its biostimulation programmes run automatically, and they are complemented by manual microcurrent therapy and light modes. Blue light has a calming, anti-inflammatory action, so it is used for skin that tends to become inflamed.
What the treatment does
- stimulates and tones the facial muscles
- activates circulation and tissue metabolism
- helps work with the definition of the facial contour
- complements a course of face massage and microcurrent
Who it suits
- if you want to work on facial muscle tone in a targeted way
- if microcurrent therapy feels too gentle
- if you are building a course of facial treatments with a cumulative effect
How the treatment works
After cleansing the skin I place electrodes on the points of the facial muscles, and the device delivers rhythmic impulses - the muscles gently contract and relax.
We raise the intensity gradually, within what feels comfortable for you. Afterwards the face can feel as it does after a good workout - warm and alive.
The treatment is physiological and there is no recovery period afterwards - you can return to your day straight away. For an optimal result the course is 10-15 sessions, and biostimulation can be combined both with other device treatments and with face massage.
Contraindications
- a pacemaker or other implanted electrical devices
- epilepsy
- pregnancy
- oncological conditions
- metal implants or threads in the treatment area
- acute skin inflammation on the face
- recent injections in the face
After botulinum toxin or filler injections a waiting period is needed - tell me when you book when they were done and we will agree a time.
Frequently asked questions
- How does biostimulation differ from microcurrent?
- Both work with impulses, but biostimulation is more intensive - the muscles contract visibly. Microcurrent is the gentlest level, biostimulation the more active one.
- Can facial muscles really be trained?
- The facial muscles respond to exertion just as the muscles of the body do. The treatment gives them targeted, controlled work that is hard to repeat with exercises on your own.
- How often is the treatment done?
- For an optimal result the course is 10-15 sessions, usually 1-2 times a week, followed by maintenance visits. I will adapt the plan to the condition of your skin and muscles.
